Valerie is a talented interior designer and we used to work together at an architecture firm before we both had kids. We were actually pregnant with our first babies at the same time! I hadn’t seen her since then, so I loved meeting her beautiful kids! Their family is the sweetest! Little Norah started falling asleep on their drive, so it took her a while to warm up, but once she did we had so much fun! Val is such a beautiful mother and I loved watching her and Jess interact with their kids. They obviously adore them! Thanks for having me Maxfield’s! It was so fun to see you again!

The weather wasn’t cooperating for this family, so we had to reschedule a couple times to make this session happen. The last time I photographed the Rasmussen family, little Olivia was the tiniest little newborn. It was so fun to see them again! Saltair is THE location this fall! I have lots more sessions here soon and I can’t wait to share them all with you! If you live in the Salt Lake Valley, it’s a quick and easy location to get to as well! We are so lucky in Utah to have such a wide variety of beautiful locations.

The last time I photographed the Wilson family, their little Axton was just a toddler. It was so fun to see them again! Their kids have gotten SO big and I got to meet their newest addition, little Boon. Isn’t he the cutest?! I’m all for these cute little puppies my clients have been bringing lately. This session was a dream! I photographed their younger son’s modern school portraits earlier this year, so it was fun to meet the rest of the family. Aren’t they gorgeous!? Their adorable little puppy pushed it over the top for me, she’s just the sweetest! It was a beautiful night at Saltair.
