This backyard mother and daughter session was a dream! I took SO many photos and I have lots of favorites! I photographed little Elle when I was doing modern school portraits and it was so fun to see her again. These sisters are so sweet and I can’t get over little Vivi’s cheeks! As beautiful as they are on the inside, they have even more beautiful souls! Watching Mary mother her children was so touching. She is gentle, patient and loving. Motherhood fits her so well! I have had the privilege of photographing the Streeter family for several years now. I always love when I get to see them. It’s been so fun to watch their family grow! When this session was originally scheduled lsat year, it was meant to be a lifestyle newborn session. Sweet little Peter had a bit of a rough entry into this world and had to stay in the NICU for a bit. I’m so glad he’s doing well and we were able to make these pictures happen with their new addition. They are such a beautiful family! Thanks again Streeter family.

An orchard in the spring is pure magic. The Christensen Family is from my hometown, so they made a 3 hour drive for this beautiful orchard! It paid off because their photos turned out gorgeous! In-home newborn sessions are some of my favorites and this one was no exception! I love the “lifestyle” feel. It’s much more natural and timeless. I treat newborn sessions as a family session, with an emphasis on the newborn. Documenting the entire family celebrating the new arrival is so special!

You can’t really beat a blossoming orchard in the spring! It’s the prettiest backdrop for family photos! The Peterson family booked a last minute mini opening I had the morning of the session and I’m so glad they did. The photos are SO cute! I took one of their son’s school portraits in March, so I was so happy to be able to get their whole gorgeous family in front of my camera. Thanks so much for having me Peterson family!

The second location of Bethany’s senior session was at a Laundromat and I love how fun and unique it is! If you missed it, check out the first greenhouse location. The causal vibe of the Laundromat fit Bethany’s style so well! I love how different it feels from the greenhouse photos. She got such great variety from two quick photo shoots. Rooftop Senior Session | Sam

Sam seriously made my job SO easy! He’s a natural in front of the camera. We shot on street level first before we headed up to the roof. I love urban locations like this for senior guys, I feel like it fit him perfectly! It’s a great location year round. cHe plays football and basketball, so it was fun to include the basketball hoop for a couple shots. It felt natural and not like a cheesy prop. Trust me when I tell you sweet Bethany’s heart is as beautiful as she is! To know her is to love her! Spring in Emery County comes a little slow, so there weren’t many options for outdoor locations. The greenhouse at Gordon’s Nursery and Floral was perfect for this senior session! I love shooting in greenhouses, but don’t get the chance very often. I think it fits her perfectly! This was her first outfit and location, then we moved to a local Laundromat for the second. It’s so fun and I can’t wait to share those!

After shooting in Historic Downtown St. George, we headed to Ivins, UT to finish off their engagement session in this pretty golden field. It’s the perfect spot if you don’t want all the red rock/desert vibes the area is usually known for. It ended up being pretty windy and a little chilly for the Vegas couple, but they are laid back and just enjoyed it. I actually really love the movement and mood the wind adds to a session! It was so fun and I LOVE the shots we got here!

Jake is my cousin and his fiancé Katie is just the best! They are so great together! They are getting married next June and I’m so excited for them! They live in Las Vegas, but came up to St. George for their engagements while we were there for spring break. I’m so glad it worked out, because it was so good to see them. I loved doing their engagement photos for them. I always take way too many photos when I photograph my own family haha. We started out in Historic Downtown St. George at the cutest carousel, walked a few streets and then headed to Ivin’s, UT to the prettiest golden field (I’m going to post those in a separate blog). I can’t wait for you to see them all!
