There’s something about winter light that I just love! It makes the bright snow look so pretty. Beus Pond was such an easily accessible location, the light was gorgeous and it ended up having more snow on the ground than I expected. I love how it turned out! I have photographed part of the Finlinson family for a few years now, so it was fun to meet the rest of the family! Dana + Photos for Jamie
I’m so excited to share this session with you all! It has been in the works since October of last year when Dana was nominated for one of my Photos for Jamie sessions for breast cancer survivors. These sessions are inspired by my mother, who we lost to this horrible disease four years ago. Dana received the most nominations and it’s no surprise why! I can’t believe how strong and positive she has remained after all she has gone through; she is so deserving! She has wonderful family and friends that have supported and loved her all along the way. Mother’s Day Session + Loch Lomond Pond
This session is a special one. Courtnee (in the green skirt) was one of my mom’s best friends. She remembered me saying I wish I had more photos of my mom and I together, so she booked this session for her mom for Mother’s Day. I love that they made getting all the women in their family photographed a priority! The photos turned out beautiful and we had a good time. They definitely kept me laughing! I adore the close relationships they all have, it was a joy to capture. I hope these are cherished in their family for generations.
Behling Family
This is my Aunt Jacki and Uncle Tracy and their kids and grandkids. Look at how cute they all are together! It was really fun for me to take these photos for them. It’s always a good time when we all get together. Jacki is grandma of the year! Every year she does “Cousin Camp” where all her grandkids come stay at her house for a week full of fun activities! She’s amazing! She even includes my girls because she’s so sweet and thoughtful like that. She goes ALL OUT and they look forward to it every year. My husband and I are friends with Kelsey and her husband Ryan. I was honored when Kelsey asked if I would take family photos of her side of the family, the Brian’s.
