Family Portraits

Bryner Family + Tunnel Springs Park

The Bryner family was so easy going during their family session and it shows! They made family photos with 4 kids look like a breeze! Rickie and her husband Mike are so cute together! I love getting a few shots of just mom and dad at family sessions. After all, it’s their love for each other that started it all. They just radiated love and happiness! The Bryners live in my brother and sister-in-law’s neighborhood and recently moved back to Utah from Arizona. I had so much fun meeting them and getting to know their kiddos. Such great people, I’m glad they decided to move their beautiful family here!

Pickett Family

This family has a special place in my heart. My husband and I met Ross and Jamie while we in Ghana on an internship and now we are lifelong friends. I got to take photos of little Claire right after she was born and again a few weeks later for her newborns. I have seen her a few times since then, but she is growing so fast! She was the most perfect baby for their mini session. A natural model for sure! I mean how cute is she?

Bennett Family + Temple Quarry Trail

The Bennett Family is from little Emery County, Utah, just like me. They drove all the way up to Salt Lake City for their session and I’m so glad they did! I hadn’t seen them for a while, so it was nice to talk with them and catch up. They were so fun to hang out with, I might see if they will adopt me. Plus they are all just gorgeous! I had a great time at this mini family session. The fall colors were perfect!

Johnson Family (Part 2) + Rooftop Family Session

Are you ready to see this gorgeous family at their second location? As I was editing this one I was thinking, “This might be my favorite session”, but then I realized I catch myself saying that after every new family session, haha. It was so hard to choose favorites for this post, so I might share some more in the future. I love how these turned out and the location was perfect. It was a little chilly, but I think you will all agree it was worth it!

Johnson Family + Memory Grove Park

I am in love with this family session! Jarom is my brother-in-law and his family is seriously so easy going, they acted like they take family photos every day! Serious naturals in front of the camera. They made my job so easy! Nicci has supported my love for photography from the beginning. I have taken their family photos since 2012, and let me tell you I wasn’t very good back then. I appreciate them sticking with me and always cheering me on. We started their session at Memory Grove Park in SLC to catch the gorgeous fall colors, and then we moved to a second location downtown that I’ll be… Keep Reading

Walker Family + Saltair

I absolutely loved this family session! We had so much fun together! Val and I were in the Interior Design program at Utah State University together. We spent a lot of late nights working on projects. We both ended up completing our internships in NYC and lived together for the summer with 5 other girls in a tiny apartment. That summer was filled with so many fun memories, late nights and good food (I would kill for a Shake Shack concrete with truffle cookie dough right now)! So much has changed since then and I loved being able to catch up with her and meet her cute little family. Their… Keep Reading
