Capitol Blossom Mini + Perry Family We timed these mini sessions perfectly and caught the Capitol blossoms at peak bloom! They were so gorgeous! Mini sessions are only 20 minutes long, but I pack them with so many great photos. They are perfect for little ones with short attention spans, like this guy. It was so fun to meet this sweet family! The only downside to minis, is that I don’t get as much time to get to know new clients. Thanks for coming Perry family!
Family Portraits
Great Salt Lake + Watson Family
Great Salt Lake + Watson Family Teara is a talented newborn photographer and owns Silver Clover Photography, so if you love the adorable, squishy little newborn poses, she’s your girl. Due to this crazy spring weather, we had to reschedule their session, but we got a beautiful day! I couldn’t get over how adorable these sisters were together. They were so sweet and cuddly with each other and the shots of them together turned out so cute. Thanks for making the long walk out to the water with me Watson family, I think we can all agree it was worth it!
Studio Newborn Session + Van Brocklin Family
Studio Newborn Session + Van Brocklin Family I photographed the Van Brocklin family for the first time when little Avett was born. You can see that in-home session here. I’m so grateful they had me back to document the addition of Radley! He’s so precious! We shot this session at White Space Studios in Sandy. It’s my favorite natural light studio and I think it was the perfect choice for this session! I just love this beautiful little family! Kailey and Connor are talented photographers and videographers, so I feel especially honored when they hire me. I love how their session turned out and I’m excited to share it with… Keep Reading
William + Lifestyle Newborn Session
William + Lifestyle Newborn Session Sweet little William joined his family two weeks ago. We scheduled his session for one week after he was born. I personally like shooting newborn sessions as soon as possible. They change and grow so quickly, so I love capturing that fresh newborn look. It’s also helpful that they are still really sleepy and cuddly! I treat in-home newborn sessions like a family session with an emphasis on the new baby. Welcoming a new baby is a big deal for the whole family, so I like to include everyone!
Sink Bath + Personal Post
Sink Bath + Personal Post I don’t know what it is about sink baths, but they make me so nostalgic. It’s the photos like these, the everyday that I will cherish the most. I love this Bubby.
Winter Wonderland | Mother-Daughter Session
Winter Wonderland Mother-Daughter Session I already shared the first half of this snowy mother-daughter session and you can see that here. Lexie found Brylee’s blush dress at a garage sale! Can you believe it? This was such a fun location to showcase it and I love how the photos turned out! Thanks for being up for anything Lexie and Brylee! I had so much fun with the two of you!
Snowy Mother-Daughter Session | Jordan Pines
Snowy Mother-Daughter Session Jordan Pines I don’t get much interest in snowy sessions, but I LOVE them! The snowy pines are just so beautiful! I try hard to keep these sessions short and I bring hand warmers to take the edge off. I’d love to fit in some more snowy sessions before spring, so if you are interested, let’s chat!
Utah Fall Photographer + Grant Family
Utah Fall Photographer + Grant Family This ended up being kind of a last minute session, but I’m so glad we could make it happen! This family was so fun and I love how their session turned out. Family sessions with grown children always feel like a vacation for me. I’m so used to pulling out all the tricks for young kids, that adult photographing adult children doesn’t feel like work at all haha! Thanks Grant Family!
Wheeler Farm + Carpenter Family
Wheeler Farm + Carpenter Family I’m finally catching up on blogging some fall sessions. This is my cousin Skylar and his cute family! We grew up together and are close in age, so it’s so fun to see his family grow and watch our kids play with each other. I can’t believe we are adults with kids of our own now. So crazy!!! Thanks for having me Carpenters! Love ya!
Emery County Photographer + Hurst Family
Emery County Photographer + Hurst Family The last time I photographed the Hurst family, it felt very different. Their oldest daughter Erin had recently been diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer. It was scary and uncertain and my heart was breaking for them. I’m so happy to say Erin is cancer free and doing incredible! I mean, her smile says it all! I’m so incredibly happy for them! I love this family dearly. You can see that first session I did for them here. They have also added a son-in-law since then. Thanks for having me Hurst Family! It was so good to see you all again.
