This ended up being kind of a last minute session, but I’m so glad we could make it happen! This family was so fun and I love how their session turned out. Family sessions with grown children always feel like a vacation for me. I’m so used to pulling out all the tricks for young kids, that adult photographing adult children doesn’t feel like work at all haha! Thanks Grant Family!

I’m finally catching up on blogging some fall sessions. This is my cousin Skylar and his cute family! We grew up together and are close in age, so it’s so fun to see his family grow and watch our kids play with each other. I can’t believe we are adults with kids of our own now. So crazy!!! The last time I photographed the Hurst family, it felt very different. Their oldest daughter Erin had recently been diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer. It was scary and uncertain and my heart was breaking for them. I’m so happy to say Erin is cancer free and doing incredible! I mean, her smile says it all! I’m so incredibly happy for them! I love this family dearly. You can see that first session I did for them here. They have also added a son-in-law since then. Thanks for having me Hurst Family! It was so good to see you all again.

This family is so fun! I love getting to photograph families with older kids. First of all, I don’t have to bribe them with smarties (most of the time) and it’s such a fun dynamic! It makes my job extra easy. Luckily, grandma was in town, so we included her in part of the session as well. I loved having her there! Thanks everyone, it was so nice to meet you all!

The weather wasn’t cooperating for this family, so we had to reschedule a couple times to make this session happen. The last time I photographed the Rasmussen family, little Olivia was the tiniest little newborn. It was so fun to see them again! I loved hearing all about Reagan starting kindergarten and making new friends. Such a beautiful family! Thanks for having me Rasmussens!

The Bair family seriously couldn’t be any cuter!!! We met through preschool and my kids and their kids are the same ages and such cute friends. They are the funnest family! I love their dynamic and I’m so excited for them to add another little one to their gorgeous family. They were so willing to model for me at this new location and I’m very grateful!
