This snowy session was shot in early December 2025 up Big Cottonwood Canyon. If you live in Utah, you know we hadn’t gotten much snow by then. Leading up to this session date, I was a little worried we wouldn’t have enough snow to make is as beautiful as it could be. It ended up being just enough, and the photos turned out beautifully! This was my second session with this gorgeous family, and I’m so grateful they wanted to book with me again! Their first session, is also one of my favorites. I adored meeting this family! They were so sweet and easy to talk to. It was fun to spend a beautiful evening the Utah mountains getting to know them a little. Their little girl was an absolute angel! She was so pleasant and happy for the entire session, I couldn’t believe it. She even gave me a few smiles. This session was shot in October of 2024, but this location is gorgeously green and even has some wildflowers right now. The wildflowers will only last a couple more weeks, so don’t miss out!

James is my by brother-in-law and his wife Shawn is one of the biggest supporters of my photography. She has hired me year after year and I’m so grateful! She truly values getting family photos taken and theirs always turn out so well! Her kids weren’t really into pictures this time, especially their little one (which is totally normal for most babies). It can be a frustrating situation for parents, and you might feel like just calling it. James and Shawn stuck it out and we ended up getting great photos! Sometimes it just takes a little longer, but it’s worth it in the end. Remember, just try to go with the flow once you get to your session. Thanks again Johnson Family! Love ya!

I first met Jessica when she was part of the Photos for Jamie Session I did for her mom. It was so fun to see her again and meet the rest of her family. Teara is a talented newborn photographer and owns Silver Clover Photography, so if you love the adorable, squishy little newborn poses, she’s your girl. Due to this crazy spring weather, we had to reschedule their session, but we got a beautiful day! I couldn’t get over how adorable these sisters were together. They were so sweet and cuddly with each other and the shots of them together turned out so cute. Thanks for making the long walk out to the water with me Watson family, I think we can all agree it was worth it!

I photographed the Van Brocklin family for the first time when little Avett was born. You can see that in-home session here. I’m so grateful they had me back to document the addition of Radley! He’s so precious! We shot this session at White Space Studios in Sandy. It’s my favorite natural light studio and I think it was the perfect choice for this session! I just love this beautiful little family! Kailey and Connor are talented photographers and videographers, so I feel especially honored when they hire me. I love how their session turned out and I’m excited to share it with you all! There’s just something so special about newborn sessions!

This family is so fun! I love getting to photograph families with older kids. First of all, I don’t have to bribe them with smarties (most of the time) and it’s such a fun dynamic! The weather wasn’t cooperating for this family, so we had to reschedule a couple times to make this session happen. The last time I photographed the Rasmussen family, little Olivia was the tiniest little newborn. It was so fun to see them again! Saltair is THE location this fall! I have lots more sessions here soon and I can’t wait to share them all with you! If you live in the Salt Lake Valley, it’s a quick and easy location to get to as well! We are so lucky in Utah to have such a wide variety of beautiful locations.

The last time I photographed the Wilson family, their little Axton was just a toddler. It was so fun to see them again! Their kids have gotten SO big and I got to meet their newest addition, little Boon. Isn’t he the cutest?! I’m all for these cute little puppies my clients have been bringing lately. This is my brother-in-law’s beautiful family! All the Johnson’s went on a family vacation together in July to Steamboat Springs. While we were there, I took family photos for the Texas Johnsons. Since we were on vacation, they didn’t stress about a location or outfits, they just came ready to capture their family. I always love sessions like this!
