I went to high school with Courtney, but it’s been way too many years since we’ve seen each other! Turns out, she recently moved minutes down the road from me! It was so nice to see her again and meet her kids. Let me tell you, they are the cutest, sweetest boys! I was dying over their adorable personalities. They were nice enough to model for me at this new location that I’ve been wanting to try out. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out and the light was so gorgeous! I went to high school with Jodi and Jordan and it was so fun to see them and meet their adorable kids! I felt like I could have stayed forever just catching up with them. You would never know they made a long drive and had car trouble on the way to their session (every mom’s worst nightmare)! The older brother, Nash, was always taking care of little Averi and trying to cheer her up. It was so sweet! I even got a smile or two from Quinn. Jodi has always been beautiful, but motherhood sure looks gorgeous on her! Thanks for making the drive Gee family. It was a joy to see you again and photograph your beautiful family at Mountain Dell!

There’s no place like the Utah mountains in the summer! It’s my absolute favorite time of year to photograph families and this location is just gorgeous! Samuel’s sister won a family session that I had donated to a local fundraiser, but since she lives in California she gifted the session to the Purcell Family. I loved meeting this sweet family. They absolutely adore their beautiful little girls and capturing their love was a joy!

The wildflowers lasted just long enough for this beautiful family’s very first family photos. Yes, first family photos… ever! They have never hired a photographer and had professional family photos taken. I was so honored to be the one to capture these for them! They are such a fun family and I had a great time in the beautiful mountains with them! Hopefully I didn’t scare them off and they will make family photos a regular thing. The Labrum family attends my church, and they are so sweet! Their oldest is leaving on his mission soon, so we will be doing mission pictures for him shortly as well. Little Brinley is so fun and full of energy. Remember if you have little ones, they are going to run the show and that’s ok. I love capturing their personalities just as they are. You may not get the perfect shot of everyone smiling, and that’s ok. The important thing is that you got everyone in the photo. You will still loves them years down the road and they will help you remember what this stage was like. Thanks for having me Labrum Family!

This backyard mother and daughter session was a dream! I took SO many photos and I have lots of favorites! I photographed little Elle when I was doing modern school portraits and it was so fun to see her again. These sisters are so sweet and I can’t get over little Vivi’s cheeks! As beautiful as they are on the inside, they have even more beautiful souls! Watching Mary mother her children was so touching. She is gentle, patient and loving. Motherhood fits her so well! I have had the privilege of photographing the Streeter family for several years now. I always love when I get to see them. It’s been so fun to watch their family grow! When this session was originally scheduled lsat year, it was meant to be a lifestyle newborn session. Sweet little Peter had a bit of a rough entry into this world and had to stay in the NICU for a bit. An orchard in the spring is pure magic. The Christensen Family is from my hometown, so they made a 3 hour drive for this beautiful orchard! It paid off because their photos turned out gorgeous! Cloudy Saltair Family Session | Preece Family

Lauren and I high jumped together at Utah State back in our prime. We traveled all over together and had so many good times! We haven’t gotten together for a while, so it was so fun to see her and her beautiful family again! Saltair is definitely one of my favorite locations. It was so sunny all day and then turned overcast right before the session, which added some pretty blue/gray skies. It ended up being a little chilly and Lauren adjusted everyone’s outfits last minute and just rolled with it. The kids did so great and I think they turned out so beautiful!

Winterhalder Family + Tunnel Springs Park Mini

Abbie is my second cousin and my mom always had a special place in her heart for her. She has the sweetest family now, and I’m so glad I was able to photograph them! I have gotten them in front of my camera twice lately, because we did some front porch pictures recently as well. I had a great time with them and love watching their cute kids interact with each other. They are so fun!
