Mengwasser Family + Utah Mountains

I adored meeting this family! They were so sweet and easy to talk to. It was fun to spend a beautiful evening the Utah mountains getting to know them a little. Their little girl was an absolute angel! She was so pleasant and happy for the entire session, I couldn’t believe it. She even gave me a few smiles. This session was shot in October of 2024, but this location is gorgeously green and even has some wildflowers right now. The wildflowers will only last a couple more weeks, so don’t miss out!

Baptism Photos + Lola

Sweet Lola. I have photographed her since she was preschool age, and she was just as cute back then! She recently turned 8 and has decided to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints soon. She is so excited and her session was really fun! I adore her!

Christy had planned on a family mini session, but her family meeting her at the capitol didn’t go as planned. Such is life, but I still felt bad that it didn’t work out for her. We made the most of it and did a little mini maternity shoot. I’m so glad she agreed, because they turned out beautiful!!!

Downtown SLC Senior Session + Paityn

Paityn is the sweetest! Her heart is as beautiful as she is and I had such a great time with her and her mom during this downtown SLC senior session! I love shooting downtown! It’s the perfect location for senior sessions and you run into such a diverse group of people, there’s never a dull moment! Downtown SLC is especially great for early spring senior sessions when most outdoor locations haven’t greened up yet. We got some great variety and I love how the photos turned out! Thanks Paityn. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I shot Arie’s newborn photos! She’s just as sweet as she was then. Even though she was a little overwhelmed by getting her picture taken, she did so well and LOVED her cake! She was absolutely adorable eating it with her tiny fingers.

I do headshots every now and then, but I don’t usually post many of them so I thought it would be fun to share some men’s headshots. I photographed Scott and his family this past year and I absolutely loved being able to meet them. They are all incredible humans! It was fun to see him again for a few minutes. He is so genuine and has a great sense of humor. This was a really quick and easy 5 minutes session and he still got plenty of shots to choose from. Thanks Scott!

Baby Will | Cake Smash

Neither of his sisters wanted anything to do with their first birthday cake, so I expected Will to be the same. Luckily he loved it and was so fun to watch! This was a really simple setup that anyone could do. I used two white sheets and hung them in the back yard. I prefer sheets for this, because seamless backdrop paper looks really messy with all the cake and frosting. I ordered balloons and balloon tape from Amazon, and it makes balloon garlands and arches SO easy to do! I also purchased a balloon filler earlier this year and it saves so much time! Definitely worth it!

Will Turns One | Birthday Portraits

That was the fastest year of my life! Will has been such a joy from day one. He is the happiest, smiliest baby and you just can’t help but love him! He’s been an angel. We were out of town for his birthday, so I took these portraits of him in our backyard when we got back. Of course, his sisters had to get in the photos too. They both adore him! Ava and Will have an especially cute friendship. They love to play, read and giggle together. Their laughs are so infectious! Happy Birthday Bubby! We sure love ya!
