I absolutely love this location! It had been a while since I had done a session there, so I was so excited when Micah loved the idea too. She has to be the kindest, most humble and sweet senior. Darant is my nephew and I’m having a hard time believing he’s old enough to be graduating. He’s the best of the best, and I’m proud of all he has done! He’s going to do incredible things and I can’t wait to cheer him on. His session was so fun! I love when I get to photograph family. Congrats D!

Paityn is the sweetest! Her heart is as beautiful as she is and I had such a great time with her and her mom during this downtown SLC senior session! I love shooting downtown! It’s the perfect location for senior sessions and you run into such a diverse group of people, there’s never a dull moment! Downtown SLC is especially great for early spring senior sessions when most outdoor locations haven’t greened up yet. We got some great variety and I love how the photos turned out! Thanks Paityn. Ian has been playing baseball since he was tiny and now he has received a baseball scholarship! It only seemed fitting to include it in his senior session. I love how it turned out and it was so fun to shoot on the field. After the photos on the baseball field, Ian made a quick outfit change and we got a totally different look at the park nearby! The second location of Bethany’s senior session was at a Laundromat and I love how fun and unique it is! If you missed it, check out the first greenhouse location. The causal vibe of the Laundromat fit Bethany’s style so well! I love how different it feels from the greenhouse photos. She got such great variety from two quick photo shoots. Sam seriously made my job SO easy! He’s a natural in front of the camera. We shot on street level first before we headed up to the roof. I love urban locations like this for senior guys, I feel like it fit him perfectly! It’s a great location year round. cHe plays football and basketball, so it was fun to include the basketball hoop for a couple shots. It felt natural and not like a cheesy prop. Trust me when I tell you sweet Bethany’s heart is as beautiful as she is! To know her is to love her! Spring in Emery County comes a little slow, so there weren’t many options for outdoor locations. The greenhouse at Gordon’s Nursery and Floral was perfect for this senior session! I love shooting in greenhouses, but don’t get the chance very often. I think it fits her perfectly! This was her first outfit and location, then we moved to a local Laundromat for the second. It’s so fun and I can’t wait to share those!

Downtown Salt Lake City was the perfect backdrop for Christian’s senior session! He’s a bit of an old soul, so the Exchange Place street had the perfect vibe! It’s one of my my favorite areas to shoot at because there is so much variety in such a small area. You can park right on Exchange Place and it’s so easy to walk up the street and find classic architecture all the way to graffitied alleyways and aged brick walls. After that, you can drive all the way to the top of the parking garage and get amazing views of the city! The downtown SLC buildings make such a pretty backdrop!

She brought along her mom and friend, which makes it even more fun! Katelyn comes from the best family. I donated a photo session to a fundraiser for a young girl fighting cancer. Katelyn’s dad bought the gift certificate, even though his own daughter is fighting cancer. That’s just the kind of people they are. (Although Katelyn’s mom admitted he thought he was bidding on tools, but Katelyn knew it was for photography and kept encouraging him to bid haha! Best story!) I’m so glad I was able to shoot this senior session! I love how they turned out. I feel like these photos fit her personality and we got so much variety! Thanks Katelyn (and Katelyn’s dad, haha)
Deegan lives in my hometown and it was so fun to have him come all the way to Saltair for his senior session! It’s one of my favorite locations and I love how his photos turned out. He only has about a month of his senior year left! That makes me feel really old, because I remember Deegan as a kid (cringe). After graduation, he plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When he returns, he will be attending BYU. Good luck in all you do Deegan!!!
